Our work as

Operation Environmend

Over the course of 2022 we have made several actions in order to achieving our goal of minimizing wastage within households. We have attempted awareness raising and community service approaches and will continue displaying our progress on this page.

STAR WEEKLY

After reaching out to the star weekly team we managed to gain contact with the group and land our own spot in their paper. This was our first media coverage and we were beyond excited to be getting our story out to a further audience. Our story was labelled "Taking action against beach waste" and was written by Liam McNally.

ALTONA BEACH CLEAN UP

After much build-up to the event, our Altona Beach Clean Up finally took place on the 9th of October in collaboration with Save the Sea and Life and Altona Beach Patrol. It was a highly successful event with a handful of volunteers and an overall collection of 45kg of rubbish.
