Our Journey
When we were tasked with the task of making a difference in the community it was originally a daunting task with us all not knowing each other and never agreeing. There were three main ideas that we could not choose between being: Homelessness, Deforestation and Household wastage. We decided on wastage because it was a problem that we had personally seen and it was an achievable goal. Now that we have progressed as a group we have grown more comfortable with our group and we have been able to start to make a change.
What to expect from us
Welcome to the operation environ-mend website. This is a website for our movement that will contain consistent updates and share stories correlating to saving natural resources within your household, as well as our bigger vision, to promote sustainability and prevent plastic pollution . We will be posting things from recommendations on how to stop wastage in your home and recourses you can use to what we are doing ourselves to raise awareness on the issue. Plus, look forward to frequent updates on work we have done for the community and new projects and targets we are working towards.
